PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT
We fully understand how daunting it can be to bring your child into nursery for the first time. This is why we take pride in encouraging strong links between the parent and Olive Tree.
Learning from home –each week you will be expected to carry out an activity with your child and record it down on a ‘Learning from home ‘sheet. We believe this input to be crucial to your child’s learning as we can further that interest in nursery
- Coffee Sessions – a chance to find out what your child will be learning
- Sports day – exercise and good health is of great importance at Olive! Get active and get fit with your child!
- Stay and play – Practitioners skilfully demonstrate the art of teaching through play
- Parent meetings – speak to your child’s keyworker for an update on their progress, an opportunity to see their learning journey file
- Baking day – spend time with your child baking! Prize for the winner!
- World Egg Day – decorate an egg for our in-house competition – as always, prizes for the winner and runners up!
